Samsung’s first OLED-display foldable smartphone might launch in January 2016

Samsung has worked on the folding OLED displays concept for a long time, and such a display is almost ready for launch. The project was code named “Project Valley”, and a smartphone with a bendable panel is now expected to be rolled out in January 2016.

Samsung is reportedly testing the handset that comes in two versions that only differ in terms of processor power. One version has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 CPU while the second device has 820-type processor. Both Snapdragon processors benefit from the Quick Charge 3.0 function.

Snapdragon 620 is an octa-core processor while Snapdragon is a quad-core one, and both units feature Kryo kernels.
