Multiple armed attacks left at least 129 people dead and about 352 others wounded across Paris, firefighters said early Saturday. However, the death toll may grow significantly as CNN affiliate to France announced that more than half of the wounded are in critical condition (scroll down for video).
Scores of people were killed in a string of what seem to be coordinated attacks throughout Paris Friday evening. At the same time, law enforcement forces were struggling to free any hostages seized inside Bataclan concert hall.

During a public address to the nation, Francois Hollande said he declared a state of emergency, meaning borders will be closed. “We have to show compassion and solidarity and we also have to show unity and keep our cool. France must be strong and great,” he said.
