US plans to transfer nuclear weapons from Turkey to Romania, EurActiv says

US intends to move its nuclear weapons from Turkey to Romania amid deteriorating relations between Washington and Ankara following the July military coup, informed EurActiv.com citing two independent sources and adding that the Romanian Foreign Ministry strongly denies the information.

The United States would have already started the procedure of moving the nuclear warheads stored at the air base Incirlik in Turkey and Deveselu military base in southern Romania is rumored to be the new home for the nukes.
