Romania’s Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos assigned Dragos Tudorache to take over country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The nomination of the Head of PM’s Chancellery comes following the resignation of former Interior Minister Petre Toba who was accused of corruption by the DNA prosecutors.

Tudorache had previously acted as an interim minister after the resignation of Marius Bostan, the ex-Minister of Communications and Information Society.
